Macher Matisyahu - Hasidic Reggae Star

You can't make this stuff up. Excerpt:
Halfway through the first song, the crowd — which included Jewish kids, Birkenstock-type music fanatics and black faces — was jumping up and down to the beat with Matisyahu, who held his hand to his head so his yarmulke wouldn't fall off.
Oh yeeeah, you go boytchik! Link

Plant material is neutral kosherwise and can be consumed with either meat or dairy. Also this Hasid's career choice is not too strange. Until about ten years ago there was a large and and ancient Jewish community in Ethiopia, the Falasha Jews -- remember, tradition has it that the ruling house was founded by Soloman's first son. Couple this with the Rastafarian's worship of the last Emperor of Ethiopia, Hailie Selassie and the career choice seems almost predetermined. I've no doubt that upon hearing Matisyahu uncle Benny woud have said, "So what's not to like?".

Agree with Kath. I can't believe Euge remembers all that stuff. Apparently, that coffee can full of dried green vegetable substance Kath and I found in Dad's closet didn't have a long term, detrimental effect.
