It's really a mixed, not a socialist economy -- Nokia, for example, I don't think is state owned. Don't really need a lot of central control when people value egalitarianism and are willing to contribute so much of their income to provide public goods. Also keep in mind the dark side: the weather eats its, the Russkies are next door, and there may still be some downtrodden Laplanders huddling in the north amidst a lot of reindeer droppings who aren't partaking of utopia. Ah, but if only our country could do this.
